I create my garden furniture by welding a sturdy steel frame, then blending the topside welds smooth (so they will become unseen), the frame is then sent to a “powder coating” company to apply a finish that is durable, maintenance free and weatherproof.

The powder coating has a lovely satin sheen (usually the frames of my furniture are finished in black but other colours can be selected).

Once the frames are returned to me I then set a composite board (with wood effect grain pattern) into the frame and secure with stainless steel fixings

The result is beautiful, durable, modern looking garden furniture, that doesn’t need annual maintenance and the best bit is – it wont only last a few seasons – it’ll probably out last most of us!

NOTE: The frames of my furniture are not lightweight metal that will rust and weaken over time (as sold by many of the large chain retailers), it is reassuringly heavy and solid frame (large benches require 2 people to lift)
